BEETHOVEN LIVE AT THE KEENE COLONIAL THEATRE OCTOBER 7

KEENE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA 07-08 COLONIAL THEATRE SEASON BEGINS WITH ALL BEETHOVEN, WITH ERIC STUMACHER AS CONDUCTOR AND PIANO SOLOIST

Concert I of the Keene Chamber Orchestra’s 2007-8 Keene Colonial Theatre Season will be on Sunday, October 7, 4 PM.

The program will be all-Beethoven: Egmont Overture, Piano Concerto No. 2, and Symphony No. 2. Eric Stumacher, KCO’s Music Director, will be the conductor and piano soloist.

Says Eric Stumacher: “ This is fantastic music, a real treat. We have a hot tip: Beethoven will be at the concert, and he loves children of all ages!”

School age attendees, as always will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Additionally, children in attendance are cordially invited by the Keene Chamber Orchestra to join the musicians in dressing up for this concert if you wish.

The Keene Chamber Orchestra, in its seventeenth season, continues to garner praise as "one of New Hampshire’s cultural delights" and “one of the best ticket values around.” The outpouring of praise for the Orchestra’s performances have included audience testimonies such as: “This was the finest orchestral experience I have ever had!” and “Wonderful! Fantastic!”

The Keene Chamber Orchestra is comprised of professional and skilled student musicians of all ages from the Monadnock Region of southwest New Hampshire and beyond.
