ROHAN GREGORY TO PERFORM BEETHOVEN VIOLIN CONCERTO WITH KEENE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA JAN 28
WORLD PREMIER OF TANGO KLEZMER BY LARRY SIEGEL, BRAHMS SYMPHONY NO. 2. CONCERT CONDUCTED BY KCO MUSIC DIRECTOR AND CONDUCTOR ERIC STUMACHER
Renowned violinist Rohan Gregory, a native of Keene, will perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the Keene Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, January 28, 2006, 4 PM, at the Keene Colonial Theatre..
The program will also feature the world premier of Tango Klezmer by Westmoreland composer Larry Siegel, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2.
Says KCO Music Director and Conductor Eric Stumacher: “This is exquisite music, extra inspiring in live performance. The Beethoven and Brahms works are stunningly beautiful, and Larry Siegel’s new Tango Klezmer is a lot of fun. School age attendees as always will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Children in attendance are cordially invited by the Keene Chamber Orchestra to join the musicians in dressing up for this concert if you wish.
