PROGRAM II OF KEENE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA 04-05 SEASON AT KEENE COLONIAL THEATRE TO INCLUDE HAYDN CELLO CONCERTO IN D AND MAHLER SYMPHONY NO.4

Concert II of the Keene Chamber Orchestra’s 2004-5 Season at the Colonial Theatre in downtown Keene New Hampshire, will contain Haydn’s Cello Concerto in D, with Sarah Cohen as cello soloist; and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, with Karen Lubeck as soprano soloist.

The program, under the baton of KCO’s Music Director and Conductor Eric Stumacher, will take place at The Colonial Theatre in downtown Keene, NH, on Sunday, January 30, at 4 PM. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.

Says KCO Music Director and Conductor Eric Stumacher: “ This will be the perfect way to warm up a winter weekend. To hear this amazing music live will be a fantastic experience for audience members of all ages.”

School age attendees will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Additionally, children in attendance are cordially invited by the Keene Chamber Orchestra to join the musicians in dressing up for this concert if you wish.

The Keene Chamber Orchestra, in its fifteenth season, has garnered praise as
"one of New Hampshire’s cultural delights" and “one of the best ticket values around.” The outpouring of praise for the Orchestra’s performances have included testimonies such as: “This was the finest orchestral experience I have ever had.”
