ERIC STUMACHER TO PERFORM MOZART D MINOR PIANO CONCERTO WITH KEENE CHAMBER

FIRST PROGRAM OF KEENE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA 04-05 SEASON AT KEENE COLONIAL THEATRE TO INCLUDE DVORAK SLAVONIC DANCES AND BEETHOVEN SYMPHONY NO. 5

Concert I of the Keene Chamber Orchestra’s 2004-5 Season at the Colonial Theatre in downtown Keene New Hampshire, will be a “Fifth of Beethoven, with sides of Mozart and Dvorak”.

The program, under the baton of KCO’s Music Director and Conductor Eric Stumacher, will consist of Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances in E Minor Op. 72 #2 and G Minor Op. 46 #8, Mozart’s Piano Concerto in D Minor, with Stumacher as pianist; and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. It will take place at The Colonial Theatre in downtown Keene, NH, on Sunday, October 10, 2004, at 4 PM.

Says KCO Music Director and Conductor Eric Stumacher: “ This will be the perfect way to celebrate Columbus Day Weekend. To hear this amazing music live will be a fantastic experience for audience members of all ages.”

School age attendees will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Additionally, children in attendance are cordially invited by the Keene Chamber Orchestra to join the musicians in dressing up for this concert if you wish.

The Keene Chamber Orchestra, in its fifteenth season, has garnered praise as "one of New Hampshire’s cultural delights" and “one of the best ticket values around.” The outpouring of praise for the Orchestra’s performances have included testimonies such as: “This was the finest orchestral experience I have ever had.”
